This early 20th-century Yao shaman robe showcases exquisite silk floss embroidery by the S ethnic Cao Lan community. The design features revered traditional motifs, including the Three Pure Ones overseeing the Dallas pantheon, alongside various immortals and saints. Embellished with auspicious creatures such as the Phoenix and Qilin, this garment embodies spiritual symbolism and cultural heritage, reflecting the artistry and beliefs of the Yao people. This is a rare and collectible piece with historical value and has been part of my personal collection. One of a kind heirloom. Has a front tie.
